After a web site is designed and constructed it's just like
any other computer file, it needs to be 'saved' somewhere. In order for the
files (the web site) to be available to the viewing public it has to be saved
to a hard drive, in a computer that is always turned on and is always
connected to the Internet. That computer is called a host computer and it is
'Storing' or 'Hosting' the web site files, hence the name "Hosting". Basic Web
Sites stores your site files on computers in our office and hosts them on
computers located in the USA.
Hosting charges are as follows:
Top Level Domain names, hosted in their own account:
For a basic site, $5.00 per month for 1 Main Domain name. Includes 5 e-mail
accounts under Main name.
Free! e-commerce
scripts, shopping carts, etc. With any hosting Package
For Low Level Domain names hosted in the WSDAC account:
(Low Level names are names that are attached to a Top Level Domain name by
a ' / ' For example in: wsdac.com/qwerty wsdac.com is a Top Level Domain
and qwerty is the Low Level name). The hosting fee is $10.00 per month, 20
e-mail accounts.
Basic Web Sites bills the first of each month for the total
charges. Statements are usually mailed around the 6th of the month. Payment is
to be made upon receipt of the statement. Any account more than 2 months
behind in payments will be removed from the net.
We accept payment by company check, personal
check, money order, and cash. We prefer PayPal & Google Check-out Or use PayPal,
Google Check-out for Credit cards or cash transfers.
