We charge $25.00 per hour for any
work done on a web site. In looking at rates of other companies we have found
that the average charge for web site design and work done on a site is
anywhere from $35.00 to $60.00+ per hour. We feel that for what we are
offering $25.00 per hour is the correct price. We do not offer all the "Bells
& Whistles", we don't do Database integration, Multimedia, Etc. We do
offer e-commerce sites but only for small to medium size businesses with
limited products.
What you are paying for is our
ability to produce a well designed and properly functioning web site.
What you are paying for our
expertise, our talent and our ability to use the Internet tools that are
available.
What you are paying for is our
knowledge of the Internet and the World Wide Web that connects it together.
What you are paying for is our
collective background in business, marketing, advertising, sales,
photography, graphic design security and computer technology and Real Estate that all
contribute to Basic Web Sites ability to provide good solid service and
support at a very reasonable price. ONLY $25.00 PER HOUR.
Take a look at some samples of our work at
clients sites. These represent design prices from
one to several, hundreds of dollars or more. Simple sites that take 4 hours to
actually design (not counting "thinking" time) to ten-twenty-or more hours. We
don't charge extra for answering e-mails, or talking on the phone to customers
or submitting sites to free search engines, or making sure the site is up and
running and all components are working properly. Cost of those services are
figured in to the hourly rate.
